Israel Houghton’s Nueva Generación.

This project is Israel’s only all Spanish record to date. It was a blast to be a part of it, but It was also a lot of work.

Eddie Ramirez and his brother Johnny translated all the songs from English to Spanish, which is quite an undertaking when you’re trying to keep the vibe of the record alive while maintaining proper Spanish translation.

Eddie then flew to San Antonio TX. where he and the other background vocalist rehearsed and learned the Spanish versions of the songs. By the end of the week Eddie was in the vocal booth along with Israel, Marie Crouch, Michelle Hinojosa, Charisma Montoya, Melissa Montoya, Danielle Stephens, and Joyce wells.

We’ve got to mention that Israel was a trooper, he worked hard and learned to sing the songs in Spanish and learned to ad-lib in Spanish too all within a 14 day span. He's a natural.
